Scholarship to Study Abroad

The Foundation supports undergraduate Silver or Gold Award Girl Scouts who plan to study abroad, irrespective of major/minor.  It is not necessary to be a Scholarship to Study a Foreign Language recipient to apply for this one time Scholarship to Study Abroad, nor are Scholarship to Study a Foreign Language recipients excluded from applying. The Scholarship provides $1,000 directly to the awardee upon verification that they have begun their study abroad experience.  The Scholarship to Study Abroad IS NOT renewable.  Applications may be submitted for studying abroad during first semester, second semester, summer, or the full academic year.  Awardees must maintain at least a “B” or higher grade point overall (3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 4.0 on a 5.0 scale).  (NOTE: Awards are for undergraduate study ONLY)
